Aug 16 08 -  Bud's Report - Fishing has been steady the last few days with, most fish coming in 60' to 120' feet of water fishing down to 70'. If you can use the parking lot as an indicator of how good the fishing is, right now it is most of the time full. I was out 3 times this week taking 5 fish the first day and 6 the second and 4 this morning. Our best set-ups has been lead, down riggers and divers, most everything has been working.

Jun 12 2008 -  Bud's Report - Fished this morning until 10:30 AM. Went 6 for 9 in 135 feet of water from 10 to 100' down, some other boats were getting fish out around 200'. My best lure was a Dreamweaver in a pearl color 100' down. Note that the water is warming up a little and the fishing should just keep getting better. The docks here, at the DNR ramp are under water most of the time.

May 20 2008 - Bud's Report - Fishing has been tough for me and a lot of other people os far this year. The fish have not moved in like they did last year, it may be the cold weather we are getting. I fished Port Sheldon the 15th. 3 hours and nothing tried South Haven on the 16th. Caught 2 lake trout did not hear about a lot of other fish taken. I think things will soon get better. I have heard about some fish out in 200 to 300’ it is a little far out for me, people are getting walleye off the piers at night
